Well . . . That's certainly a "new" wrinkle, eh? I don't use threaded txt so I'd have to defer to someone who does. I'm glad that you're up and running WM 6.1 !!! You could try turning OFF threaded txt and the turning it back on . . . that would be my first best guess. Good luck.

This is SD's hack. Apply it and see how you like un threaded sms. after a test of that, simply reverse it and see what happens. I'm thinking it is a graphic problem but I can't be sure. Good luck with this one. Let us know if it helped you.

Here is how to disable threaded sms in wm6.1

fire up your reg editor and create this key

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Setting s\OEM\

SMSInboxThreadingDisabled

DWORD

value set to 1

I'm confused, reply for link?
Just picked up a Q9c yesterday after having 6.1 on my blackjack.... The Q9 came loaded with 6.0 but Verizon has been no help with 6.1 upgrade.

Absolutely beautiful, couldn't have asked for a better experience. Followed the directions and had 6.1 running flawlessly within a few minutes. Threaded text messaging works great. Thank you very much!

First thing: Download/save each file that you need.

also, do i need to install a file that will recognize the links because when i try to open them from my documents folder, it gives that general message saying that windows cannot open the file and to choose the program that is best or search the web...that message.

Google sear for winRAR. it will be able to open those files. After winRAR is installed just extract each of those to the "Desktop" and proceed with the tutorial as normal....
